Bu çalışmamızın temel konusu Âmirî’nin eğitim ve öğretim anlayışının incelenmesi, amacı ise onun bu konudaki görüşlerinin açığa çıkarılmasıdır. Tarihten günümüze gelinceye kadar eğitim bireyde istendik davranış değişikliği kazandırma süreci olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Toplumun en küçük yapı taşı olan ailedeki bireylerin eğitilmesi, hayatta gereksinim duyacağı temel bilgilerin ferde verilmesi erdemli toplumun da oluşmasına büyük katkı sunacak olması tartışmasızdır. Bundan dolayı eğitim birey ve toplum odaklı olmak üzere ikili bir yapıya sahiptir. Ferdin etkili ve kendine faydalı olan eğitimi alması, bunun hayatına tatbik etmesi toplumsal bir faydayı beraberinde getirmektedir. Klasik İslam felsefesinde ise eğitim bireye istendik davranışların yanında ona birtakım değerlerin, alışkanlıkların ve erdemlerin kazandırılması olarak düşünülmüştür. İslam filozofları özellikle Platon ve Aristoteles’ten mülhem eğitim anlayışlarını ortaya koyarlarken bunu ahlâk eğitimiyle özdeşleştirmiş ve nefs eğitimi adı altında özgün görüşler serdetmişlerdir. Âmirî, ilk önce felsefeyi teorik ve pratik olmak üzere iki başlıkta ele almış ve ardından pratik felsefeyi de genel anlamda nefs, aile ve memleket yönetimi şeklinde üçe ayırmıştır. Âmirî ideal bir toplumsal ve devlet düzenin oluşması bağlamında eğitim ve öğretimin önemine vurgu yapmıştır. Âmirî, Platoncu eğitim anlayışından yararlanmayla birlikte bu konuda kendine özgü bir bakış açısını da ortaya koyar. Âmirî’ye göre bireyin erdemlere ulaşması sadece bir toplumda yaşamakla değil, bireyin belli yaşlardan itibaren eğitim ve öğretim alanında derinleşmiş, hikmetli ve erdemli bir eğitimcinin yanında eğitim ve öğretim almasıyla gerçekleşir.
The main subject of this study is to examine Amiri's understanding of education and training, and its aim is to reveal his views on this subject. From history to the present, education has been considered as the process of bringing the desired behavioral change in the individual. It is indisputable that educating the family members the smallest building block of society and providing the basic information they will need in life will contribute greatly to the formation of a virtuous society. Therefore, education has a dual structure: individual and society focused. Receiving an effective and beneficial education for the individual and applying it to his/her life brings social benefit. In classical Islamic philosophy, education is considered as providing the individual with certain values, habits and virtues as well as desired behaviors. While Islamic philosophers put forward their understanding of education inspired by Plato and Aristotle, they identified it with moral education and put forward original views under the name of self-education. Amiri first discussed philosophy under two headings, theoretical and practical, and then generally divided practical philosophy into three: self, family and country management. Amiri emphasized the importance of education and training in the context of the formation of an ideal social and state order. Along with benefiting from the Platonic understanding of education, Amiri also presents his own unique perspective on this subject. According to Amiri, an individual's attainment of virtues is not only possible by living in a society, but also by receiving education and training from a certain age under a wise and virtuous educator who is deepened in the field of education and training.
