Since the first COVID-19 case was revealed in our country on March 11, 2020, doctors in the KBB (Our Nose Gorge) clinic are at risk due to symptoms affecting the upper respiratory tract. The symptoms of application are mainly; fever, headache, dry cough, dyspnoe, throat pain, nasal blocks, taste smell losses and impotence. The study included 106 patients with RT-PCR (real-time polymerase chain reaction) test positivity and 99 patients with Toraks BT (computer tomography) findings positivity (cold-glass nodes, infiltrations, bronchoscular thickness consolidations) from March 2020 to January 2022. The patient group with RT-PCR positive and the patient group with Toraks BT positive findings were studied according to age, gender and symptom distribution. In terms of age-based distribution, the RT-PCR positive group’s average age is statistically significantly smaller than the positive patient group’s average age (p=0,001). The average age of patients with respiratory impairment was statistically significantly higher than those who did not show this symptom (p=0,003). The group of patients with RT-PCR test positive in gender distribution and the group of patients with Toraks BT results positive in gender distribution are similar, the distribution of symptoms according to gender is not statistically significant (p>0,05). During the distribution according to symptoms, the Toraks BT findings were found significantly higher in the positive patient group fever, headache, coughing, insomnia, back pain, breathing impairment, smell failure, throat pain and contact history compared to the positive RT-PCR test group (p<0,05). However, the number of symptoms in the application was significantly higher compared to the positive patient group in the RT-PCR test.
