Abstract:

Purpose - The main purpose of the study is to reveal the impact of the emotional work behaviors of the lawyers registered in the Manisa-Izmir Barosuna against their clients on the emotional extinction, with the help of a proposed model. Method - In the analysis of the data obtained in the study, the causal relations between the secret variables were used to describe and test the conformity of a model with a determined model and structural equality models (YEMs). First, the subdimensions of emotional work were determined by the explicative factor analysis (AFA) and then tested by the validity of the factor structures by the verifying factor analysis (DFA). The findings - The results of the analysis were not supported, although the findings were obtained in the form of increasing superficial behavior in lawyers, the emotional extinction (dt) will decrease and the natural behavior (do) will increase and the emotional extinction will increase. In contrast, the result of the increased profound behavior of lawyers towards their customers is statistically proven that their emotional exhaust will decrease. Debate - According to the theoretical structure of the "Effects of Emotional Work Behaviors in Lawyers on Emotional Exhaustion" developed in the study, a comprehensive model found in current literature can be accepted. The lawyers will be able to demonstrate a positive behavior towards their clients as a result of their perception and internalization of problems related to their customers. Thus, the relationship and communication between the clients and them will be more vivid. As the model created in the study is in the form of the beginning and the proposal, it can be said that it is important to develop by adding new dimensions.
