Abstract:

The objective of this study is to study the research that has been done in Turkey and the health sector regarding the concept of emotional labour; to identify the target groups in which the research is carried out; to identify the scales used and be able to be a guide in the subsequent studies. To get to the work done on emotional work, the YÖK Thesis Search Center, Ulakbim, Google Academic, Science Direct, Scopus and EBSCOhost electronic databases have been scanned. The research was removed according to the criteria set for this study and included 19 research studies. The identifying findings found that about 73 percent of the studies were research articles; 21.6 percent were master thesis and 5.25 percent were doctoral thesis. The concepts that are widely studied in studies along with the concept of emotional labour are, respectively, exhaust, intention to leave the job and working behavior.
