Abstract:

The aim of this research is to adapt the Shared Educational Leadership Scale-PÖLÖ (Zhan and others, 2020) to the Turkish culture. For this purpose, data from three different groups of participants working in the Batman and Bolu provinces in the 2020-2021 educational and educational year has been collected. The first study group of the study consists of 16 English teachers where the language equality of the scale was tested; the second study group of the researcher, 150 teachers where the opening factor analysis (AFA) was carried out, and the third study group of the study, 180 teachers where the verifying factor analysis (DFA) was carried out. The findings obtained by the analysis clearly indicate the linguistic equality, structural validity, reliability of the scale, and the standards in the field are met. However, when the original seven matters and the one-dimensional scale were adapted to the Turkish culture, it was also found that it consisted of seven matters and that all of their matters were again gathered under one-dimensional. At the end of the study, PÖLÖ was a valid and reliable measurement tool that contains sufficient psychometric qualities that can reveal the opinions of teachers working in Turkish schools. A number of recommendations were made to the researchers.
