Büyük Ek Boyutlar Modelinin γγ → ZZ Süreci ile İncelenmesi

Son zamanlarda, Standart Model’deki hiyerarşi problemini çözmek için yüksek boyutlu yeni uzay zaman teorileri öne sürülmüştür. Bunlardan bir tanesi, Arkani-Hamed, Dimopoulos ve Dvali ADD büyük ek boyutlar modelidir. Bu çalışmada LHC’ nin, ADD ek boyutlar modelini saptama potansiyeli γ γ → Z Z alt süreci aracılığı ile tartışılmıştır. ADD modelin ΛT parametresi üzerindeki kısıtlamaları fotoüretim süreçleri yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Sayısal hesaplamalar sırasında çeşitli dedektör kabullenim değerleri dikkate alınmıştır. ΛT için duyarlılık limitleri %95 güvenilirlik düzeyinde hesaplanmıştır

Abstract:

Recently, high-dimensional new space time theories have been proposed to solve the hierarchy problem in the Standard Model. One of them is the Arkani-Hamed, Dimopoulos and Dvali ADD model of large additional sizes. In this study, the potential of LHC to determine the ADD add-on dimensions model is discussed through the γ γ → Z Z subprocess. The limitations on the LT parameter of the ADD model have been obtained through photography processes. During numerical calculations, various detector acceptance values have been taken into account. Sensitivity limits for LT are calculated at 95% reliability level.

Recently new higher dimensional space-time theories have been proposed to solve the hierarchy problem in the Standard Model. One of them is Arkani-Hamed, Dimopoulos and Dvali ADD model of large extra dimensions. In this work, we have discussed the potential of the LHC to probe the ADD Model of extra dimensions via the subprocess γ γ → Z Z. We have obtained the constraints on the ΛT parameter of the ADD Model through the photoproduction process. During the numerical calculation various values of detector acceptances have been taken into consideration. The sensitivity limits on the ΛT have been calculated at the 95% confidence level.
