The study examines the relationship between education spending and economic growth in Turkey. The ARDL Boundary Test method was used in the study covering the period of 1991-2016. Granger causality analysis revealed that there is a one-way Granger causality from short and long term educational expenditures to economic growth. For this reason, the study supports the hypothesis that educated investments increase economic growth.
