Abstract:

In this study, interdisciplinary approach was sought to study whether the application of the primary visual arts course creates a significant difference in the students' attitudes towards the course. The study used a semi-experimental model of the pre-test-sontest control group. In the 4th class of a private primary school located in Anakara or the province of Çankaya, the application was carried out with a total of 44 students selected by intact method, including 21 students' experimental groups and 23 students' control groups. The data collection tool was developed by the researcher and made up of 30 subjects, using the "Visual Arts Course Attitude Scale". In the analysis of the collected data, the two-factor ANOVA (repeated measurement) test was applied for repeated measurements on one factor. According to the research, there was no significant difference between the exam and control group’s student’s pre-test and estest attitude scale scores. In addition, the teaching based on the interdisciplinary approach in the experiment group did not make a difference according to the control group on the attitudes of students in relation to the class.
