INTRODUCTION: The aim of this study was to evaluate the knowledge and opinions of nursing students about sexual health. METHODS: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with first, second, and third year students who accepted to participate in the study and attend the study at a nursing faculty of a state university. Data were obtained through self-report method through Participant Information Survey, Sexual Health Perspective Questionnaire and Sexual Health Knowledge Level Questionnaire which was prepared in accordance with the literature. RESULTS: The mean age of the research sample was 20.15±1.43 (Min-Max=17-30) and the 79.6% were fe-male students. In the study, it was determined that most of the students shared the problem of reproductive and sexual health with the health care team members (65.4%), 90% had knowledge about reproductive and sexual health and 62.1% were against sexual intercourse before marriage. It was determined that sexual health knowledge level of the participants above 20 years of age and third grade was higher (p<.05). DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: In this study, it was determined that university students' perspectives on reproductive and sexual health were positive and their knowledge level was high.
