Hz. Peygamber’in vefatından sonra Müslümanlar arasında ortaya çıkan fikir ayrılıkları ve siyasî çatışmalar, itikâdî açıdan ayrışmayı, fırkalaşmayı ve mezhepleşmeyi beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu fikir ayrılıklarının en başında da hiç kuşkusuz büyük günah meselesi gelmektedir. Bu konu üzerindeki tartışmalar genel olarak hangi fiillerin büyük günah kapsamına girdiği, büyük günah işleyen kişinin dünya ve ahiretteki durumunun ne olacağı ve küçük günah işleyenlerin bu günahlarının ne şekilde bağışlanacağı ya da cezalandırılacağı üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Bu tartışmalar, Müslümanlar arasında birbirini tekfir etme ve kendileri gibi düşünmeyenlere hayat hakkı tanımayacak şekilde büyük çatışmalara yol açmıştır. Dinî bir hüviyet kazandırılan büyük günah tartışmalarının sosyoloji-psikoloji, siyaset, ekonomi ve kültürel farklılıklar gibi birçok nedeninden söz etmek mümkündür. Bu nedenle İslâm mezhepleri tarihi bilim dalında bu mesele fikir-hadise irtibatı kurularak açıklanabilir. Zira büyük günah meselesi nassın anlaşılması konusundaki çalışmalarla değil, daha çok yönetim ve siyaset alanında Müslümanlar arasında ortaya çıkan ve birçok Müslümanın ölmesiyle sonuçlanan olaylar sonrasında gündeme gelmiş bir konudur. Bu makalede günah meselesiyle ilgili özellikle küçük günahların bağışlanması ya da cezalandırılması hususunda Ehl-i Sünnet ile Mu’tezile arasında yaşanan tartışmalar ve fikir ayrılıklarının nedenleri, Ahmed el-Mar’aşî’nin “Hâşiyetü’l-akâidi’n-Nesefiyye” adlı risalesi örneğinde izaha çalışılacaktır.
The differences of opinion and political conflicts that emerged among the Muslims after the Prophet passed away brought about theological divergence, factions and sectarianism. Undoubtedly, the problematiuqe of the great sin is at the forefront of these disagreements. The discussions on this issue have generally centred on which acts fall within the scope of major sins, what the status of the person who commits major sins will be in the world and the hereafter, and how the sins of those who commit minor sins will be forgiven or punished. These discussions led to great conflicts among Muslims, who criticised each other and denied the right to life to those who do not think like them. It is possible to talk about many reasons such as sociology-psychology, politics, economy and cultural differences for the discussions on major sins, which have been given a religious identity. Therefore, in the field of history of Islamic sects, this issue can be explained by establishing an idea-event connection. Because the issue of major sin is an issue that has come to the fore not with the studies on understanding the text, but rather after the events that occurred among Muslims in the field of administration and politics and resulted in the death of many Muslims. In this article, the reasons for the debates and disagreements between the Ahl al-Sunnah and Muʿtazilites the on the issue of sin, especially on the forgiveness or punishment of minor sins, will be tried to be explained with the example of Ahmad al-Marʿashī’s treatise (risalah) titled Hashiye al-Aqā'id al-Nesefiyya.
