Abstract:

Bu çalışma ile Hystrix indica (Kerr, 1792)’nın Batman yöresindeki varlığını tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. H. indica (Hint oklu kirpisi) IUCN kırmızı listeye göre asgari endişe (LC) kategorisinde yer alan ancak Türkiye’de tehlike altında (NT) kategorisinde yer alan bir kemirgen türüdür. 2014 ve 2015 yılları arasında Batman yöresinde doğrudan ve dolaylı gözlem teknikleri ile gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma ile H. indica’nın biyoekolojik özellikleri ve koruma önlemleri verilmiştir.

Abstract:

This study aims to identify the existence of Hystrix indica (Kerr, 1792) in the Batman area. H. indica is a species of worm that is listed in the IUCN Red List category of Minimum Anxiety (LC) but is listed in the Turkish category of Under Danger (NT). This study, conducted by direct and indirect observation techniques in the Batman area between 2014 and 2015, has given H. indica bioecological properties and protective measures.
