Abstract:

This research was carried out to determine how the perception and expectation levels of primary and secondary school teachers in respect of teachers' leadership roles (corporate development, professional development, cooperation with colleagues) differ in terms of various variables (gender, branch, senior and number of students in school). The research has used a causal comparison model of quantum research methods. The study included 313 teachers working in 14 different schools in the Yozgat province center. According to the results of the research, the most important dimension of professional development among the dimensions of teachers’ leadership behavior has been shown and demonstrated. This size has followed the dimensions of cooperation and corporate development with colleagues in order. In the perceptions of teachers about the teachers' leadership roles, there is a significant difference according to the variable of teachers' seniority and the number of students in the school. The expectations of teachers and teachers in leadership are significantly different from gender and branch variables.
