Abstract:

Bu çalışma, ahşap malzemede renk açma ve vernikleme işleminin alev kaynaklı yanmada ışık yoğunluğuna etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu maksatla, Doğu kayını (Fagus orientalis Lipsky), sarıçam (Pinus sylvestris Lipsky) ve Sapsız meşe (Querqus petraea Liebl.) odunlarından ASTM D 358 esaslarına uyularak hazırlanan örneklere sodyum hidroksit (NaOH), hidrojen peroksit (H2O2), kalsiyum hidroksit (Ca(OH)2), sodyum silikat (NaSiO3), asetik asit (CH3COOH), sodyum disülfit (Na2S2O5), oksalik asit (C2H2O4) ve potasyum permanganat (KMnO4)’ın % 18’lik çözeltisi ile renk açma işlemi yapıldıktan sonra, ASTM D3023 esaslarına göre su bazlı (Sb), sentetik (Sn), poliüretan (Pü) ve akrilik (Av) vernikler uygulanmış ve ışık yoğunluğu ASTM E 160–50 esaslarına göre belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, ışık yoğunluğu; ahşap türü, renk açma çözeltisi ve vernik çeşidi etkileşimine göre en fazla KMnO4+Na2S2O5+H2O2 (R5) ile rengi açılmış sentetik vernikli kayında görülürken, en az Na2S2O5+C2H2O4 (R4) ile rengi açılmış akrilik vernikli sarıçamda elde edilmiştir. Buna göre ışık yoğunluğu en az olan örnekler, yangında dumandan boğulma riskini arttırabileceklerinden uygulama alanlarında bu durumun dikkate alınması önerilebilir.

The impact of the coloring and painting process on the light intensity of fire-based burning in wood materials

This study was done in order to determine the effects of the coloring and vernication process on wood materials on the intensity of light in fire-based burning. For this purpose, the Eastern grain (Fagus orientalis Lipsky), the grain (Pinus sylvestris Lipsky) and the untouched grain (Querqus petraea Liebl.) After the process of coloring with a solution of 18% of sodium hydroxide (NaOH), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), sodium silicate (NaSiO3), acetic acid (CH3COOH), sodium disulfate (Na2S2O5), oxalic acid (C2H2O4) and potassium permanganate (KMnO4) in the trees prepared in accordance with the ASTM D3023, water-based (Sb), synthetic (Sn), polyurethane (Pu) and acrylic (Av) vernices were applied and light intensity was determined according to ASTM E-160-50. As a result, the light intensity is most observed in the colored synthetic vernical wire with KMnO4+Na2S2O5+H2O2 (R5) according to the tree type, the coloring solution and the vernical variety interaction, while at least in the colored acrylic vernical wire with Na2S2O5+C2H2O4 (R4) is obtained. According to this, the examples with the lowest light intensity may increase the risk of drowning from smoke in the fire in the fields of application can be recommended to take this into account.
