This study aimed at finding whether the serum cholesterol, triglyceride, total protein, albumin, globulin, A:G ratio, low dancite lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), very low dancite lipoprotein-cholesterol (VLDL-C), high dancite lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), AST, ALT, LDH and CK levels have changed. As material, a total of 12 cows of ages from 3 to 8 were used. Biochemical parameters were determined using commercial kit in the atomic absorption spectrometry (Olympus AU 600 model). Although the total postpartum protein, albumin, globulin and LDL-C levels were reduced, there was no statistical difference (P>0,05) compared to pre-partum. Cholesterol levels from the 6th month of pregnancy. It was determined that it tended to decline until the month, at the lowest level at birth, the 6th and 7th months were high (P<0,05) compared to the postpartum. The postpartum triglyceride levels were found low (P<0,001) compared to pre-partum. The level of HDL-C was found to rise to the end of pregnancy and to decline again after childbirth (P<0,05). In the prepartum and postpartum period, the levels of VLDL-C were not found to change (P>0,05). Unimportant (P>0,05) increases in serum AST, ALT and LDH levels (P>0,05) and significant (P<0,05) increases in CK levels were observed compared to pre-born. As a result, the levels of cholesterol and triglyceride in childbirth decreased compared to the pre-born months, the levels of HDL-C and CK increased, but there was no significant change in the total protein, albumin, globulin, LDL-C and VLDL-C, AST, ALT and LDH levels.
