Abstract:

The plant we own is genetically eroded by environmental and other pressures and is at risk of extinction. In particular, the preservation of the diversity in the plant genetic resources of the cultivated species is mandatory for the sustainability of plant production. The species originate in Turkey are preserved in the National Gen Bank and in the Land Gen Bank. The research of the possibilities of conservation by freezing of some cultures that have a problem with grinding in their seeds or having difficulties in their vegetative preservation is of great importance. In recent years, intensive work on freezing conservation has been ongoing and the latest techniques are aimed at preserving and preserving genetic resources. In this collection, information about the methods, techniques and applications related to the cryopreservation technique, defined as the long-term preservation of biological material at ultra low temperatures.
