Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are the developmental anomalies of the intrakranial vascular structures and are a congenital malformation. Clinical symptoms and findings can begin at any age, but the incidence is high in patients under the age of 40. Symptoms and findings vary depending on the diameter, anatomy, size, and the vessels it affects. In this fact presentation, a hospital in the province of Gaziantep has been aimed at applying to the emergency service with headaches, reduction in neck movements and vomiting complaints and this symptoms are experienced for the fourth time, the male patient’s nursing care is assessed according to the “Self Care Disability Nursing Theory”. After the patient’s emergency assessment, the brain surgeon was postponed to the intensive care unit for 3 days and then taken to the brain surgeon clinic. Nursing theory and models form a basic guide by providing a conceptual framework for the fields of education, management, application and research in nursing. It also contributes to the development and professionalization of the profession. Self-care deficiency Nursing Theory developed by Orem is one of the theories commonly used in nursing practices.
