Araknoid kistler, meninkslerin intrakranial beyin parankimi dışında kalan konjenital malformasyonlarıdır. Birçoğu tesadüfen saptanırlar. Kafa travması sonrası subdural hematoma sebep olabilirler. Literatürde, araknoid kistler ile ilişkili subdural hematom tedavisinde çeşitli cerrahi yöntemler önerilmiştir. Bunlar; burr hole ya da kraniotomi ile subdural hematom boşaltılması, endoskopiyle kist fenestrasyonu ve subdural hematom boşaltılması, burr hole ya da kraniotomiyle subdural hematom boşaltılması sonrası kistoperitoneal şant takılmasıdır. En sık kullanılan uygulama burr hole ile subdural hematom boşaltılmasıdır. Diğer tedavi seçenekleri burr hole ile subdural hematom drenajının başarısız olduğu durumlarda önerilmektedir. Biz bu olgu sunumunda, burr hole ile subdural hematom drenajı yaparak tedavi ettiğimiz iki hastamızın sonuçlarını bildirmek istiyoruz.
Araknoid cysts are congenital malformations of the menynks that remain outside of the intrakranial brain parankimi. Many of them are found by coincidence. They can cause subdural hematoma after head trauma. In literature, various surgical methods are recommended in the treatment of subdural hematomas associated with araknoid cysts. These are: subdural hematom discharge with burr hole or kraniotomy, cyst fenestation with endoscope and subdural hematom discharge, cystoperitoneal shant after subdural hematom discharge with burr hole or kraniotomy. The most commonly used application is the discharge of subdural hematom with burr hole. Other treatment options are recommended in cases where the subdural hematom drainage with burr hole fails. We want to report the results of our two patients we treat by doing the burr hole and subdural hematom drenage in this presentation of the fact.
