Abstract:

Safety skills are skills of vital importance for all individuals. It is said that individuals with mental disability are more exposed to accidents, violence, harassment and harassment than individuals with non-deficiency. This study aims to evaluate the demographic, methodological and results of studies aimed at teaching the safety skills offered to individuals with mental disabilities. In order to reach the relevant studies, scans were made in the electronic environment, the directory scan was carried out and the sources of the achieved studies were reviewed by hand scan. The results of the scans have reached 176 studies, and the studies have been evaluated in terms of inclusion and exclusion criteria, and 33 studies have been taken into visual analysis. In the visual analysis process, each study was analyzed in terms of demographic, methodological and parameters related to its results. Analysis shows that individuals with mental deficiency in different ages and levels can be taught safety skills. The findings were discussed and recommended to researchers and practitioners.
