Bu araştırma, Topluma Hizmet Uygulamaları dersi kapsamında okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının, Covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde evde ailelerin çocuklarıyla birlikte oynayabilecekleri kolay ulaşılabilir ve ekonomik materyallerin kullanıldığı hareketli oyunları planlaması ve oyunları hedef kitleye sosyal medya ile ulaştırması sürecine dair deneyimlerinin incelenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırma, nitel bir olgu bilim çalışması şeklinde planlanmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi ile belirlenen Türkiye’nin Ege bölgesinde yer alan bir devlet üniversitesinin, Okul Öncesi Eğitimi lisans programında eğitim almakta olan 29 öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler “Topluma Hizmet Uygulamaları Dersi Değerlendirme Formu” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin betimsel analizinden ortaya çıkan bulgular; dikkat edilen, başarılı olunan ve güçlük çekilen noktalar ile bireysel ve mesleki açıdan öğrendiklerim temaları altında kodlanmıştır. Temalar incelendiğinde, adayların planladıkları etkinliklerin hedef kitle olarak belirledikleri çocukların yaş ve gelişim özelliklerine uygun olmasına dikkat ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte öğretmen adaylarının, iş birliği içinde çalışma, sorumluluklarını yerine getirme, yaratıcı ve eğlenceli fikirler üretme, okul öncesi eğitim programında yer alan kazanım ve göstergelerin temsil edildiği öğrenme süreci planlama gibi unsurlar açısından kendilerini başarılı buldukları ortaya çıkmıştır. Güçlük çekilen noktalar teması ele alındığında ise öğretmen adaylarının; uzaktan eğitim ile birlikte iş birliği içinde çalışma ve iletişim kurma, teknolojik olanaklar, yaratıcı olma, farklı yaş gruplarına hitap eden etkinlik planlayabilme gibi unsurları belirttikleri görülmüştür. Bireysel açıdan öğrendiklerim teması altında öğretmen adaylarının, kendilerinin de eğlenerek öğrendikleri, pandemide çocuklar ve ebeveynlerine katkı sunabilmenin kendilerini iyi hissettirdiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Mesleki açıdan öğrendiklerim teması altında ise, Covid-19 gibi salgın hastalıklara bağlı oluşabilecek pandemi koşulları veya doğal afetlerin doğurduğu sonuçlardan kaynaklı eğitim öğretime ara verilmesi gibi durumlarda ebeveynleri çocuklarıyla evde nitelikli zaman geçirme konusunda yönlendirebilme becerisi edindiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Aynı zamanda çevrede bulunan materyallerin bir oyun aracı olma potansiyelini keşfetmelerinin mesleki yaşamlarını kolaylaştırıcı bir etkisinin olduğunu düşündükleri tespit edilmiştir.
This research was carried out in the framework of the Social Services Practices course, with the aim of studying the experience of pre-school teachers candidates in the process of the Covid-19 pandemic, where families can easily play with their children at home and the process of planning the mobile games in which economic materials are used and the process of delivering the games to the target audience through social media. The research is planned in the form of a qualitative fact scientific study. The participants of the study are composed of 29 teachers candidates who are studying in a state university located in the Ege region of Turkey, which is identified by the easy-to-accessed state sample. In the study, the data was collected through the "Society Service Applications Course Assessment Form". The findings resulting from the visual analysis of the data obtained are coded under the topics I have learned from an individual and professional point of view, the points I have been noticed, the points I have been successfully and the points I have been challenged. When the topics are examined, it is determined that the candidates have noticed that the events they plan are in accordance with the age and developmental characteristics of the children they have identified as the target audience. However, the teacher candidates have found themselves successful in terms of elements such as working in cooperation, fulfilling their responsibilities, producing creative and fun ideas, achieving the achievements in the pre-school education program and the indicators represented in learning process planning. When dealing with the theme of the weaknesses, the teacher candidates have shown elements such as working and communicating in cooperation with distance learning, technological possibilities, being creative, planning activities that address different age groups. Under the subject of what I learned from an individual point of view, it has been revealed that the teaching candidates, what they learn by fun, can contribute to their children and parents in the pandemic, make them feel good. Under the subject of what I learned from the professional point of view, they have stated that in cases such as pandemic conditions that may be caused by epidemic diseases such as Covid-19 or interruption in education due to the consequences of natural disasters, they have the ability to guide their parents to spending qualified time at home with their children. It is also found that they believe that discovering the potential of the materials in the environment to be a game tool has an impact that facilitates their professional lives.
This research was carried out to investigate the experiences of preschool teacher candidates within the scope of the Community Service Practices course regarding the planning of active plays using easily accessible and economical materials that parents can play with their children at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the process of posting the plays to the target audience via social media. The research was planned as a qualitative phenomenology study. The participants of the research which was determined by easily accessible case sampling consisted of 29 preschool teacher candidates attending in the undergraduate program of Preschool Education of a state university located in the Aegean region of Turkey. In the research, data were collected through “Community Service Practices Course Evaluation Form”. Findings from the descriptive analysis were coded under the themes of points of attention, success and difficulties, and what I learned personally and professionally. When themes were examined, it has been determined that the candidates pay attention to the fact that the activities they plan are suitable for the age and developmental characteristics of the children they have determined as the target group. In addition, teacher candidates found themselves successful in terms of cooperative learning, fulfilling their responsibilities, producing creative and funny ideas, planning the learning process in which the outcomes and indicators in the preschool education program. Considering the theme of the points of difficulty, it is seen that the teacher candidates stated the elements such as cooperative learning and keeping in touch in distance education, technological opportunities, being creative, and planning activities that appropriate to different age groups. Under the theme of what I have learned individually, it has been revealed that the preschool teacher candidates learning with fun and being able to contribute to children and their parents during the pandemic makes them feel good. They stated that they have acquired the ability to guide parents to spend quality time with their children at home in case of interruptions in education due to pandemic conditions that may occur due to epidemic diseases such as Covid-19 or interruptions in education due to the consequences of natural disasters under the theme of what I have learned professionally. At the same time, they think that discovering the potential of the materials in the environment to be a play tool has a facilitating effect on their professional life.
