References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Green mold on citrus fruit is the most important limiting factor of storage life. Due to decreasing sensitivity of Penicillium spp. against postharvest fungicides, three new fungicides recently were registered in Turkey and many countries. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of these new fungicides with wax combination on green mold. In this study, 32 P. digitatum isolates were obtained from various packinghouses. In cold storage room conditions, thiabendazole failed to control of P. digitatum. Pyrimethanil was found the most successful fungicide among them. When fungicides were applied alone after inoculation on satsuma mandarins, imazalil + pyrimethanil and pyrimethanil showed the best effectiveness, fludioxonil was ineffective. Polyethylene recin wax with a combination of fungicide was provided a higher effectiveness than fungicides alone. The wax with a combination pyrimethanil was observed 75% efficacy on the resistant isolate. As a result of one month of cold storage, imazalil, imazalil + pyrimethanil showed the best effectiveness on the sensitive isolate. At the end of the first month, while imazalil, imazalil + pyrimethanil inhibited the decay development on fruit without inoculation, the second month pyrimethanil, imazalil + fludioxonil inhibited the decay development. Azoxystrobin did not show effectiveness in vivo, in vitro and cold temperature conditions. Postharvest fungicide applications did not affect fruit quality during the storage.
