In forensic investigations, medical personnel should be aware of their legal responsibilities and the importance of their procedures. This situation can provide appropriate collection and prevent the contamination of critical evidences. The objective of this study is to provide information about collection, custody, security, handling and storing of biological samples for medical personnel in emergency units. As a result, medical personnal in emergency services who are welltrained about forensic sciences, have been vocationally retrained, supplied with sufficient equipment and have interacted with a Prosecutor of the Republic will produce better results in relation to their responsibilities for forensic incidents.
