Bu çalışmanın amacı farklı metin tasarımlarına ilişkin Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının görüşlerini belirlemektir. Çalışma nitel araştırma modeline göre yürütülmüştür. Bu amaçla alan yazından hareketle metin tasarım ögeleri belirlenmiş, sekiz farklı tasarım oluşturularak iki farklı türde (öyküleyici ve bilgilendirici) metne uygulanmış ve bu metinlerin tasarımlarıyla ilgili Trabzon Üniversitesi Fatih Eğitim Fakültesi Türkçe Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dalında öğrenim görmekte olan 23 son sınıf öğrencisiyle görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler kodlanarak içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda katılımcıların en çok görüş bildirdikleri metin tasarım ögesinin görseller olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. En fazla tercih edilen metinlerin genellikle 2,5 kenar boşluğuna sahip, tırnaksız yazı karakterlerinden “Arial” ile 11 puntoda yazılmış, harfler arasındaki boşlukları normal olan, iki sütundan oluşan ve iki görselli oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca katılımcıların hiç görseli olmayan veya bir görsele sahip olan metinleri ve tek sütundan oluşan düzenlemeyi tercih etmedikleri sonuçları elde edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to determine the views of prospective Turkish teachers on different text designs. In this study, the qualitative research model was used. For this purpose, text design elements were determined based on the literature and eight different designs were created and applied to two different types of texts (narrative and informative). Interviews were held with 23 senior students studying at Trabzon University, Fatih Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Education. Content analysis was made by coding the obtained data. At the end of the study, the most common text design element that the participants expressed an opinion was visuals. It was concluded that most of participants was preferred text that was designed with “Arial” typeface, 2.5 margins, 11 font size, normal letter spaces, consist of two columns and have two visuals. In addition, the results were obtained that the participants did not prefer texts with no visuals or with one visual and the arrangement consisting of a single column.
