In this study, a sample of surface water from a total of 8 different stations in the lake was made in May 2019 and August 2019 to determine heavy metal concentrations at the edremit coastline. In the samples taken, the concentrations of heavy metals such as Al, B, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn were measured. The results were evaluated by comparing the national legislation taken into account for lake water masses with the limit values set out in the Superficial Water Quality Regulation (YSKY) and Water Pollution Control Regulation (SKKY). The level of significance of the difference between stations and period measurements has also been tested by ANOVA analysis, the correlations between parameters have been detected by Pearson Correlation Matrix. The lake is located on the edremit coast of the bor. Class III, in terms of Cd. Class II and C. The quality of the water class is characteristic. Although the difference between stations is not significant in terms of heavy metal parameters, the difference between periods has been significantly identified. There are also strong correlations between the Fe, Cu, Cr and B parameters. From the heavy metal parameters measured in the output waste of the Edremite Waste Treatment Factory (EAAT), the concentrations of Cr and Cu can be said to be partly a pressure element on the lake water. When considering the effects of hydrochemical processes, it is of great importance to create measures to prevent spot and spread pollution formed by human activities.
