Abstract:

In our globalized world, individuals (veya people) have gained to achieve the opportunity of all information in a very short time. In particular, massification of communication has been one of the most important elements that make it easy to reach the knowledge. With this feature of the mass media we are instantly informed by visual information for events taking place in our country and the world. Besides mass media transfers information, it can lead to the formation of the social behaviour of individuals and societies change in structure. Mass media, providing new models of life for individuals, new expectations, feelings, thoughts, values, beliefs, and contributes to the formation of attitudes and actions. Today, the rapidly growing media exposed to intense message is undeniable fact. One of the most important problems in the world and our country is terror and violence. We have heavily lived these events in recent days, they affect our society too. The terror and violence messages located on mass media effects to individuals with the condition to be at different levels. Subject of our study aims to demonstrate how the messages including terrorism and violence in the mass media had an impact on the behavior of individuals. This study was conducted field research. The results were explained by the data obtained.
