Purpose: In this study, we aimed at assessing the time and size of the front fontanel closure in children between 0-24 months. The second objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the size of the UF and the subaraknoid distance width. Tools and Methods: In this study, the images of the facts taken by computer tomography (BT) due to light head trauma between January 2020 and October 2021 were evaluated as retrospective. On 3D IT images, the front fontanel closure (OFFK) was assessed and the OF area was measured in the open ones. Subaraknoid distance measurements were performed in action BT images. The findings: 602 children who were pulled from the IT due to a mild head trauma were included in the study. From 0 to 24 months, there were 23 to 25 incidents in each monthly age group. The K/E ratio was 284/317. Radiologically 0-6 months, clinically 0-2 months of UFK was not monitored. Clinical UVC began in the 3rd month and increased by 66% in the 13th month to 90% in the 15th month, and radiological UVC began in the 7th month and reached 65% in the 16th month and 84% in the 24th month. The average UF area increased from birth to the 2nd month, showed a wavelength that decreased in 3-9 months, and gradually decreased from 9 months to 2 years old. The relationship between the OF area and the subaraknoid distance width has not been established (r:0,229, p<0,01). Result: This study determined the normal values of the average OF area in the Turkish society in the monthly age groups and the average OF area. These values we determine taking into account clinical standards can be used as a reference. In addition, we have shown that there is no connection between the area of the ÖF and the subaraknoid distance width.
