Abstract:

In this study, the Turkish Translations of the First Qur'an will try to identify and evaluate the names that correspond to the places in the Qur'an. The name of the land is governed by the cultural codes, the tapu sentences, the memory of the peoples, which are moved from yesterday to day. Nations bring cultural codes from history to the future through Earth names science (toponimi). Every day from yesterday gives us an information from history. by X. From the century to the century, how did the Turks, who entered massively Islamic culture, in the Turkish First Qur’an Translations, translate their names of the Islamic culture surrounding their new entries into their languages? Do you have any Arabic names? In the lighting of the settlement and cultural history of societies, the special names of land and geographical areas are important resource materials applied. The religious and cultural environments within the societies have closely influenced their traditions of admitting. However, the contradictions that the Turks, who enter a new environment with Islamic religion, give to Arabic words will be tried to be presented in the witness of historical texts and the expression of the Turkish will be tried to be witnessed by examples.
