Çin’in dış politika gündeminde son zamanlarda adından çokça bahsettiren ‘Bir Kuşak Bir Yol Projesi’ geniş bir yer tutmaktadır. Çin bu proje bağlamında Çin’den Avrupa’ya kadar uzanan geniş bir ulaşım ağı kurmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu ulaşım ağının önemli bir ayağını Orta Asya bölgesi teşkil etmektedir. Jeopolitik konumunun yanı sıra Orta Asya, Çin bakımından büyüyen ekonomisine bir pazar ve enerji kaynağı olmak itibariyle de önemlidir. Bu makalede genel olarak Orta Asya ve özel olarak Kırgızistan’ın Çin’in dış politikasındaki yeri ele alınmaktadır. Ayrıca Çin hükümetinin bölge devletlerine ve Kırgızistan’a yönelik yaklaşımları analiz edilmektedir.
In China’s foreign policy agenda, the “One Generation One Road Project” has a wide place, which has recently mentioned its name a lot. China intends to build a broad transport network from China to Europe in the context of this project. This transportation network is a major step in the Central Asia region. In addition to its geopolitical position, Central Asia is also important to the growing economy of China as a market and energy source. This article discusses the place of Central Asia in general and, in particular, Kyrgyzstan in China’s foreign policy. The approach of the Chinese government to the regional states and Kyrgyzstan is also being analyzed.
The ‘Belt and Road Initiative’, that has recently been mentioned a lot, occupies a large place in China's foreign policy agenda. In the context of this project, China aims to establish a large transportation network from China to Europe. An important part of this transportation network will take place in Central Asia. In addition to this region’s geopolitical position, the Central Asia is also important for China’s growing economy as a market and energy supplier. This article deals with geopolitical importance of the Central Asia in general and Kyrgyzstan in particular in China's foreign policy. In addition, the Chinese government's approaches to the regional states and Kyrgyzstan are analysed in this article.
