Abstract:

Verbal literary products contain important codes that keep light on the lifestyle of societies, the system of beliefs, translated from language to language, creating invisible connections between the people of the past and today. These products, especially because of their volume, carry rich materials, and the text of the castles provide data to various fields, mainly the language and the folklore field. In this study, the thirteen Uyghur histories, which were identified among the histories of the Uyghur Turks with a rich verbal tradition, studied the traditions of marriage and death from the transitional stages of life, as well as the traces of public medicine and public beliefs in the Uyghur Turks. The study’s study consists of four main topics: marriage, death, public medicine and public beliefs. Folkloric elements reflecting the scenes selected for the detection of the material are based on the scan-detection method, and each element identified is supported by examples. In the discovery of the material transmitted by Inayet (2004) Nozuğum, Seyit Noçi, Abdurahman Ġoca, Qizil Gülüm, Çin Tömür Batur, Ġérip-Senem, Tahir-Zohra, Senuber, Qemerşah and Shemsi Canan, Hörliqa-Hemracan and Mehmet (2011) transmitted by Emir Göroğli, Boz Yiğit and Gülendem. In these works the most popular folklore elements are the castles of Emir Göroğli, Boz Yiğit and Gülendem, the rich folklore elements of the Uyghur Turks, such as tradition, tradition, folk medicine, people's beliefs, were lively lived in certain castles, and through these products the transfer to future generations was provided.
