20. yüzyılın sonlarında küreselleşme kapsamında politik, ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel, teknolojik ve çevresel alanlarda ortaya çıkan gelişmeler toplumları çeşitli yollarla etkilemekle birlikte toplumların alışkanlıkları, yaşam tarzları ve gereksinimleri üzerinde önemli değişim ve dönüşümler meydana getirmiştir. Küreselleşmenin etkisiyle milletlerin veya toplumların yaşam tarzı olarak ifade edilen yerel kültürler ile küresel kültür arasındaki etkileşim giderek sorunlu ve karmaşık bir hale gelmiştir. Egemen kültür veya kültürlerin yerel kültürler üzerindeki hegemonyası sonucu yerel kültürler üzerinde bir tehdit oluşması, Amerikan kültürünün küresel kültür olarak yaygınlık kazanması, insanların tek bir kültüre yönlendirilmesi, dünya genelinde kültürel tektürleşmenin ortaya çıkması, farkındalığın ve kültürel çeşitliğin yok edilmesi, küreselleşmenin kültürel açıdan ortaya çıkardığı olumsuz sonuçlar olarak değerlendirilebilir. Küreselleşmenin kültürel açıdan ortaya çıkardığı bu gibi sorunlar iç ve dış dinamiklere bağlı olarak kentleşme, medya, teknoloji, eğitim vs. araç ve yollarla gerçekleşmektedir. Bu çalışmada hızla küreselleşen ve değişen dünyada küreselleşmenin kültürel akışları ele alınmış ve somut olmayan kültürel miras üzerindeki etkileri sorgulanmıştır.

The developments occured in political, economic, socio-cultural, technological and environmental fields within the globalization at the end of the 20th century have affected societies in various ways and caused significant changes and transformations in the habits, lifestyles, and needs of societies. The interaction between local and global cultures expressed as the lifestyle of nations or societies has become increasingly problematic and complex under the influence of globalization. The emergence of a threat to the local cultures as a result of the hegemony of the dominant culture or cultures on local cultures, the spread of American culture as a global culture, the orientation of people to a single culture, the appearance of cultural uniformity around the world, the destruction of awareness and cultural diversity can be evaluated as the negative effects caused by globalization in terms of culture. Depending on the internal and external dynamics, such problems posed by globalization in terms of culture are realized through urbanization, media, technology, education, etc. In this study, cultural flows of globalization in a rapidly globalizing and changing world are discussed and their effects on intangible cultural heritage are investigated.
