Menâr Tefsiri, Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’i yorumlama yöntemi ve ayetlere getirdiği yeni bakış açılarıyla günümüzde yazılan tefsirleri etkilemiş bir eserdir. İslâm dünyasının karşılaştığı sorunlara Kur’ân’ın rehberliğinde çözüm bulma gayretinin hakim olduğu tefsir, Kur’ân’ın hidayet yönüne ve Kur’ân’ın rasyonel bir akılla yorumlanması gerektiğine vurgu yapmaktadır. Menâr müfessirleri, Klasik dönem tefsirlerini isrâiliyâta yer verdikleri ve uzun dilsel tahliller yaparak Kur’ân’ın anlaşılmasını zorlaştırdıkları gerekçesiyle tenkit etmektedirler Bu tefsir Mısırlı alim Muhammed Abduh ve öğrencisi Reşid Rıza’nın Kur’ân’ın bir kısmının tefsirinden oluşan on iki ciltlik eserleridir. “Menar Tefsirinde Özgün Yorumlar” adlı kitap Celil Kiraz tarafından Menâr Tefsiri’deki özgün yorumları inceleyen bir eserdir. 2017 yılında Bursa’da Emin Yayınları’ndan çıkan eser, bir giriş, iki bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Tespit edilebildiği kadarıyla bu yönüyle Türkiye akademisinde Menâr tefsirini bir çok yönden tanıma imkanı sunan eserlerin başında geldiği söylenebilir.
