Abstract:

Water is one of the most fundamental elements of human sustainability in the world. Thro history, people have continued their lives with water, wanting to realize their settlements around water resources. The human being is in debt to the water. Water resources are important not only for the human being, but also for the continuity of all living beings and the sustainable environment on Earth. Problems with water resources that are vital to all animals often arise as water resources are exposed to environmental impacts. Nowadays, water resources contaminated and decreased by the negative effects of both natural and artificial environment are in a more priority position than ever. In this study, an survey work with a total of 400 people was conducted on the basis of the face-to-face conversation principle to determine the behavior and behavior of people living in the province of Kırklareli. This 31 question survey has assessed people; gender, age, educational status, profession, how many years they have lived in this province, monthly income conditions, preferences in drinking water use, water consumption behaviors, water use forms. As a result, the individual approach, awareness, satisfaction and expectations have come to the conclusion that they directly affect water consumption.
