Abstract:

Child abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, child abuse and economic abuse, which affects the health of the child in all ways, can be seen in different ways. The most reasonable approach to solving this health problem, which is the diagnosis and treatment for doctors as well as the obligation to report, is to prevent the problem from emerging and to take the necessary measures for this. The most comprehensive approach is to identify, eliminate, and develop methods to prevent risk factors in cases where they cannot be eliminated. This is limited to randomized controlled studies on the effectiveness of the programs implemented worldwide. In the light of the studies that assess the effectiveness of the programs implemented in the world and in Turkey, this article aims to provide evidence-based data on the programs to prevent child abuse to the health workers concerned with the child and to develop measures based on these data.
