Abstract:

Chemistry is a discipline in which many abstract concepts are included. It is considered important to understand the abstract structures for learning chemistry. Therefore, this research also takes into account the understanding of abstract concepts, examining the impact on the chemical success of collaborative learning and the implementation of animations, models (playing powder and bar-top) and seven principles (seven principles for a good training promoted in order to enhance the quality in graduate education). The research was carried out on the basis of the semi-experimental design of the comparative group pre-test-final test. The study included 91 first-class students of science teaching. Students are divided into four different groups and implemented in the first group with collaborative learning, in the second group with collaborative learning and seven principles, in the third group with collaborative learning and animation, and in the fourth group with collaborative learning and models. The data from the participants was collected in two scales. The Pre-Information Test, the Academic Success Test, has been used to determine the effects of the methods and techniques applied on the chemical success to determine the conditions of homogeneity of the experimental groups. When the findings from the study were studied, the conclusion was that the application of collaborative learning along with the seven principles had a serious impact on chemical success (p<.05; η2=0,13)
