Abstract The objective of this manuscript is to present a proposal for the production of the semiannual evaluation of Physical Education in early childhood education, which can subsidize the pedagogical practice of teachers working in this stage of basic education, having as a reference the experiences developed in the Municipal Education Network of Florianópolis. Discussions include the issues of evaluation, aspects of educational legislation, the importance of records; and indicate actions around shared teaching as a way to qualify the practice of evaluation in the context of early childhood education.
