Abstract:

Clinical application guidelines have become a popular tool everyday because of providing standardization in patient care, increasing the quality and cost-effective healthcare supply. Looking at the examples of the development of clinical application guidelines worldwide, it seems that many major and important organizations work in this field. In our country, clinical practice guidelines are developed by the Ministry of Health and civil society organizations that operate in the field of health. The purpose of this study is to list the existing guidelines developed by the Ministry of Health units in our country and map them according to their characteristics. Our study examined the clinical application guidelines published in our country until 01.05.2012. by T.C. The web pages of the units operating under the roof of the Ministry of Health were examined. The Ministry of Health e-bibliothèque and search engines were searched with the keywords "rehber"; "guide" and "protocol". According to the organization and history in which the guides were developed, the "Ministry of Health for Turkey Unit Clinical Application Guide Map" was drawn out. The number of guides that can be reached by the scan results is 147. 100% of the guides are available online. It is noted that most methodological developments of the guides are not written in the guides. Most of the guides were developed by the General Directorate of Public Health and the General Directorate of Health Services. The guides were involved in the subjects and diseases that health professionals could encounter in their daily practice in the presentation of health care. The importance in health care services should be provided to ensure the development and spread use of increasing guidelines taking into account the missing sides.
