Dinî-Tasavvufi Türk edebiyatının mühim edebî türlerinden olan hac seyâhatnâmeleri, hacı kafilelerinin güzergâhlarını (menâzil), hac ibadetinin farizalarını (menâsik), hac yolculuğu boyunca ziyaret edilen yerleri, şahit olunan hadiseleri ve hacca dair izlenimleri konu edinebilen manzum, mensur veya manzum-mensur olarak kaleme alınmış eserlerdir. Türk edebiyatında ilk örneklerine 13. yüzyılda tesadüf edilen bu türün 19. yüzyıla kadar devam ettiği ve irili ufaklı pek çok örneğinin verildiği bilinmektedir. Bu türe ait manzum örneklerden biri ise Nihânî mahlaslı bir şair tarafından kaleme alınan ve bugüne değin varlığından haberdar olunmayan hac seyâhatnâmesidir. Söz konusu bu eserde Nihânî’nin Anadolu’dan ayrılmasıyla başlayan hac yolculuğu sırasıyla Hama, Şam ve Kudüs’e oradan da Hicaz, Medine, Mekke’ye uzanmaktadır. Uğradığı şehirleri ve bu şehirlerde bulunan önemli ziyaret yerlerinin kendisinde uyandırdığı duyguları samimi ve lirik bir dille bendler halinde terennüm eden Nihânî, aralara farklı vezinlerle kaleme alınmış manzumeler de eklemiştir. Türk seyâhat edebiyatının kayıp halkalarından biri konumundaki Nihânî’nin Manzum Hac Seyâhatnâmesi üzerinde durulacak olan bu çalışmada söz konusu eser, dil, muhteva ve şekil bakımından çeşitli alt başlıklar altında ayrıntılı bir şekilde incelenecek ve eserin çeviri yazılı metnine yer verilecektir.
Pilgrimage travel books, which are one of the significant literary genres of religious mystical Turkish literature are works written in verse, prose or verse-prose that may deal with the routes (menâzil) of pilgrim, the fards (menâsik) of pilgrimage, the places visited during the pilgrimage, the events witnessed and the impressions of the pilgrimage. It is known that this genre, the first examples of which were encountered in the 13th century in Turkish literature, extended until the 19th century, and many examples of it were given in large and small sizes. One of the verse examples of this genre is the pilgrimage travel book, which was written by a poet with the pseudonym Nihânî and whose existence was not known until today. In this work in question, the pilgrimage journey that started with Nihânî’s departure from Anatolia; respectively extends to Hama, Damascus and Jerusalem, and from there to Hijaz, Medina and Mecca. Expressing the cities he visited and the feelings aroused in him by the important places of visit in these cities in a sincere and lyrical language, Nihânî also added poems written in different forms of meter and verse. In this study, which will focus on Nihânî's Manzum Hac Travelogue, which is one of the missing links of Turkish travel literature, the work in question will be examined in detail under various sub-titles in terms of language, content and form, and be compared with other pilgrimage travel books in verse written in this field before, and the translated text of the work will be included.
