Abstract:

Art goes beyond any natural and geographical boundaries. Whether it is in the West or East religion is the source of art and music. Locally and worldwide a number of articles and works have been written in music history. Especially it is important to stress the sympathy and passion of the Turks for the music. This shows the place and importance of music in Turkish cultural history. So the Turks wherever they went and lived, places and other cultures have not infringed but the same were assessed and treated as their countries, by making it part of their country. Music, which has a special place among the arts, is the most important locomotive carries culture. Cultural power of a country depends on the country music power. If a nation whose first two generations live through without music, its third generation will not be able talk about music anymore. Recently Turkish music, not only theoretically, but also practically, increased its influence in the Republic of Macedonia. Based on this fact, the music of mosques in Macedonia will be discussed in this paper.
