Abstract:

The Book of One Thousand and One Nights is one of the most popular books in various ‎literatures. His characters, events, and miraculous transformations that the heroes of the tales faced ‎contributed to giving him an aesthetic character that responds to the people’s need for imagination, ‎and Galan’s translation of The Thousand and One Nights contributed to his introduction to the ‎various European literatures, which invested his worlds, characters and themes in a variety of ‎literary genres. The research highlights the presence of the Thousand and One Nights in poetry, ‎story and theater in literature, English, German, Italian and Russian. ? This research aims to identify ‎the forms of the presence of the Thousand and One Nights in European literature by tracing the path ‎of his inspiration in literary models from European literature, taking from the principles of the ‎American School of Comparative Literature as an approach in analyzing the forms of inspiration of ‎the worlds of the Thousand and One Nights in European literature
