Abstract:

The narrative started with people and with the emergence of written texts, understanding and interpretation of these texts has been one of the important problems that people have discussed. However, the understanding, reception and interpretation of works with strong artistic aspects have been more difficult than other texts, and the metaphors and images used by the artists in their works have made the reader's job even more difficult. Artistic texts that are not easy to understand have become more intricate in this way. Divan poets approach with the sensitivity of a jeweler while composing their poems and choose every word they use with great care. The meaning of a word is complemented by other words and the poet creates his poem in terms of both meaning and harmony. Researchers have developed many commentary and interpretation methods in order to interpret these poems created with great sensitivity by the poets. Semiotic analysis is also a structural analysis method and is one of the modern interpretation methods used in the evaluation of verse texts. In this analysis method, it is aimed to analyze the set of indicators given in a whole and to reveal the meaning of the text with a detailed reading from the superficial structure to the deep structure. Semiotics, which is an examination method generally used in prose, is quite suitable for divan poetry. we tried to analyze Necâtî’s ghazel with “bir yana” redif in terms of surface and deep structure in the context of the semiotic analysis method.
