Abstract:

Introduction: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen that causes infections in patients in intensive care units. Increased antibiotic resistance in recent years has made it difficult to treat P.aeruginosa infections. The purpose of this study is to determine the resistance rates of P.aeruginosa sulphur isolated from the YBU. Tool and Method: P.aeruginosa seeds, isolated from various samples sent from the UIs to the microbiology laboratory between 2016-2019 years, were included in the study. Bacterial detection and antibiotic sensitivity tests are performed using conventional methods and automated systems. Results: A total of 688 P.aeruginosa sulfur has been included in the study. Among the samples where the spots are isolated, the endotrakeal aspirat samples are ranked first (53%). 3), urine samples were found in second place (27%). The antibiotic siprofloksacin (34.7%) was found to be the most resistant of the isolated P.aeruginosa juices. Seftazidime is 29.4%, sefepime is 28.1%, carbapenem is 27.3%, piperasilin-tasobaktama is 24.6%, gentamisis is 19.3%, amikasis is 7.9%. In addition, it has been observed that the resistance rates have changed over the years. The result: the resistance rates of P.aeruginosa juices to antimicrobial agents differ between hospitals. Therefore, each hospital should review its own antibiotic resistance profile at certain intervals and determine empirical treatment options.
