Abstract:

With globalization, the trade relations between the countries have increased and the foreign trade figures of the countries have changed rapidly. This study analyzed the effects of gold, silver, oil, dollar and natural gas prices on foreign trade in Turkey between 1997 and 2018 with time series. The variables of the series were determined to be linear with the Harwey Precision Test, and the stages were tested with the Fourier ADF Unit Root Test. The Maki equalization test has studied the long-term relationship of the import and export variables with gold, silver, dollar, oil and natural gas. As a dependent variable, import and export values were taken, while as an independent variable gold, silver, dollar, oil and natural gas prices were taken.
