So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Bu araştırma ile matematik ve sınıf öğretmenlerinin teknolojiyi kullanma amaçları ve derslerine teknoloji entegre ederken göz önünde bulundurdukları hususlar ile ilgili algıları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Gaziantep ili Şahinbey ilçesinde görev yapan ve derslerinde teknolojiden yararlandıklarını belirten 132 matematik ve sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veriler araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen bir anket ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenler, internet üzerinden bilgi ve materyal paylaşımına sıcak bakmadıklarını, kelime işlemci ve elektronik tablo programlarını ders materyali hazırlarken ve öğrencilerin başarı seviyelerini ölçerken yeterli olmasa bile kullandıklarını vurgulamışlardır. Birçok öğretmen cebir ve geometri yazılımlarını hemen hemen hiç kullanmadığını belirtmiştir. Ancak, öğretmenler, kısmen de olsa ders öncesinde ve ders esnasında hangi teknolojiyi hangi amaçla, neleri göz önünde bulundurarak kullanmaları gerektiğine dikkat etmeye çalıştıklarını, öğrencilerden gelen eleştiri ve süreçte yaşanan zorluklar ışığında sonraki derslerini planladıklarını belirtmişlerdir

Abstract:

This research has been aimed at determining the objectives and perceptions of mathematics and classmates in their use of technology and the aspects they take into account when integrating technology into their classes. The examples of the study are made by 132 mathematics and class teachers who work in the province of Gaziantep or Shahinbey and indicate that they are taking advantage of technology in their classes. The data was collected with an survey developed by researchers. In the study, teachers emphasized that they didn’t look hot at the information and material sharing through the internet, they used word processors and electronic tables programmes when preparing the lesson material and even if they were not sufficient to measure the students’ success levels. Many teachers have noted that they almost never use geometry and geometry software. However, teachers have pointed out that they are trying to pay attention to which technology they should use for what purpose, taking into account what, in part, before and during the course, and they are planning their subsequent courses in the light of the criticism from students and the challenges in the process.
