Bu araştırmada Anadolu İmam Hatip liselerindeki (AİHL) Akaid dersi öğretim programının temel amaçlarının gerçekleşme durumu dersi alan AİHL öğrencileri ve bu derse giren meslek dersi öğretmenlerinin görüşleri ışığında incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada Akaid dersinin inançla ilgili hususlarda sağlıklı bilgi ve tutumlar kazandırma, iman esaslarını bir bütün olarak içselleştirme, öğrencilerin inanç gelişimi sürecinde yaşadıkları problemlerle baş etme becerilerini geliştirme durumu, dersin işleniş sürecinde yaşanan zorluklar ve nedenleri ile de ilişkilendirilerek irdelenmiştir. Araştırmaya 21 AİHL öğrencisi ve 9 AİHL meslek dersi öğretmeni katılmıştır. Durum deseni ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yoluyla elde edilen veriler ışığında araştırmada, katılımcı öğrencilerin genelde Akaid dersinin inançla ilgili hususlarda sağlıklı bilgi kazandırdığını düşündüğü, öğretmenlerin ise tersini düşündüğü anlaşılmıştır. Buna karşın, katılımcı öğrenci ve öğretmenler, dersin inançla ilgili hususlarda sağlıklı tutum kazandırdığı görüşünde birleşmişlerdir. İman esaslarını bir bütün olarak içselleştirme bağlamında, katılımcı öğrencilerin çoğunlukla bu hedefin gerçekleştiğini, öğretmenlerin ise daha çok tersini düşündükleri görülmüştür. Akaid dersinin öğrencilerin inanç gelişimi sürecinde yaşadıkları problemlerle baş etme becerilerini geliştirme noktasında ise her iki katılımcı grup yine zıt yönlere ayrılmıştır. Araştırmada, söz konusu katılımcıların Akaid dersi konusunda farklı yönlere evrilen kanaatleri gerekçeleriyle birlikte incelenmiş ve dersin teori ve pratiğiyle ilgili çeşitli iyileştirme önerileri sunulmuştur.
In this research, the realization of the basic objectives of the Akaid course curriculum in Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools (AIHL) was examined in the light of the views of the AIHL students taking the course and the teachers teaching the subject. 21 students and 9 teachers - participated in the research. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the study. In the research, it was understood that the participant students generally thought that the Akaid course provides accurate knowledge on matters related to faith, while the teachers thought the opposite. On the other hand, both the participant students and teachers agreed on the view that the course helps to develop healthy attitudes in matters related to faith. Both participant groups were divided into opposite directions regarding the ability of the Akaid course to improve students’ ability to cope with the problems they experience during faith development process. In the context of internalizing the principles of faith as a whole, it was observed that the majority of participant students believed this objective was achieved, while the teachers thought the opposite. In the research, the opinions of the participants about the Akaid course which evolved in different directions were examined together with their reasons and various suggestions were presented about the theory and practice of the course.
