Günümüzde hızla artan nüfusun hızlı, ekonomik, güvenilir ulaşım taleplerini karşılamak gün geçtikçe güç hale gelmiştir. Karayolu ulaşımına ek olarak, demir yolu ve havayolu ulaşımı da bu talebi karşılamak için gelişme göstermiştir. Gün geçtikçe yaygınlaşmakta olan havayolu ulaşımı insanların daha hızlı, ekonomik, güvenilir şekilde seyahat edebilmelerini sağlamaktadır. Havalimanı yapılmak istenen yerin belirlenmesi aşaması oldukça karmaşık bir problemdir. Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi (AHP) bu problemlerin çözümünde kullanılan bir karar verme yöntemidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bayburt ve Gümüşhane illerinde havalimanı yapılabilecek en uygun alanların Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemi (CBS) ve Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) yöntemlerinden en çok kullanılan ‘Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi’ kullanılarak belirlenmesidir.

Today, it has become more and more difficult to meet the rapid, economic and reliable transport demand of the rapidly growing population. In addition to road transport, rail and air transport have also shown progress to meet this demand. The air transportation, which is increasingly widespread, makes it possible for people to travel faster, more economically and more reliably. The phase of determining the place desired to be made at the airport is a very complex problem. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is a decision-making method used in solving these problems. The aim of this study is to identify the most suitable areas in the Bayburt and Silverhane provinces with the use of the most commonly used 'analytic hierarchy process' from the Geographic Information System (CBS) and Multi-Critical Decision Making (CKKV) methods.

Airline transportation, which is becoming more and more widespread day by day; It enables people to travel faster, economically and reliably. The determination of the location of the airport is a very complex problem. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a decision making method used to solve these problems. The aim of this study is to determine the most suitable areas of airport in Bayburt and Gümüşhane provinces by using Geographical Information System (GIS) and Analytical Hierarchy Process which is the most widely used of Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods.
