Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının ilkokulda drama dersi kapsamında edindikleri kazanımları bireysel ve mesleki gelişimleri bağlamında ortaya koymayı amaçlayan bu çalışma, nitel araştırmaya örnek oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunda ilkokulda drama dersini alan 54 sınıf öğretmeni adayı yer almaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan anket kullanılmış ve elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Bu süreçte öğretmen adaylarının sorulara verdikleri yanıtlar kodlanmış ve benzer kodları barındıran temalara ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının ilkokulda drama dersi kapsamında bireysel gelişimlerine ilişkin edindikleri kazanımların altı tema çerçevesinde ortaya konulduğu ve en çok ifade edilen görüşün “sosyal gelişime ilişkin kazanımlar” temasında yer alan “empati becerisinin gelişimi” olduğu; mesleki gelişimlerine ilişkin edindikleri kazanımların ise iki tema çerçevesinde ortaya konulduğu ve en çok ifade edilen görüşün “öğrencilerde etkili öğrenmeyi sağlamaya yönelik kazanımlar” temasında yer alan “kavram öğretiminin nasıl yapılacağını öğrenme” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
This study, which aims to reveal the learning outcomes that primary school teacher candidates acquired within the scope of the drama in primary school course in the context of their personal and professional development, is an example of qualitative research. The study group of the research consists of 54 primary school teacher candidates who took the drama in primary school course. In the study, a questionnaire consisting of open-ended questions developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool and the obtained data were analyzed by content analysis. In this process, the answers given by the teacher candidates to the questions were coded and themes with similar codes were obtained. When the findings were examined, it was seen that the primary school teacher candidates’ learning outcomes regarding their individual development acquired within the scope of the drama in primary school course were revealed within the framework of six themes, and the most expressed opinion was the development of empathy skills included in the theme of "outcomes related to social development". It was also determined that the learning outcomes they acquired regarding their professional development were revealed within the framework of two themes, and the most expressed opinion was "learning how to teach concepts" included in the theme of "outcomes for effective learning in students". Suggestions were made in line with the findings obtained in the research.
