Abstract:

The aim of this study is to examine the researches on skill-based questions conducted between 2018-2022 and to reveal the tendencies in the thematic issues examined. In the study, 17 articles and 6 master's theses were analysed by document analysis method. The distribution of the studies examined in the research according to the type and date of publication, research methods, sample groups, data collection tools, research designs, subject areas and the results obtained was examined by classification. As results of the research, the studies conducted did not reach sufficient scope and diversity; the studies were mostly conducted on 8th grade students and 8th grade teachers; document analysis and semi-structured interview forms and questionnaires were used while collecting data; content analysis and descriptive analysis were generally used as data analysis methods of the qualitative research methods. Based on this situation, the general tendencies of the researches in the field of skill-based questions were determined and the subjects which were not studied enough were revealed. It is believed that the results obtained by this study will guide researchers for new studies in the field of skill-based questions.
