Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop suggestions for solutions to the problems that occur in this process by moving from the opinions of teachers who experience the synchronous (equivalent) course process. The research has preferred phenomenological patterns from the quality research types. The research was conducted in the second period of the 2019-2020 academic year at a private school located in Ankara, the province of Çankaya. 84 teachers participated in the study. The data of the study was collected online in a form with three open end problems. The study found that teachers’ recommendations on the efficiency of the synchronous course were collected under 9 categories. These categories are as follows: teaching methods and techniques must be changed, healthy communication with students must be established, activities that enhance student motivation must be carried out, technology-related problems must be solved, learning deficiencies must be traced and removed as soon as possible, synchronous course planning must be done in detail, guardians must be carried out the tasks that fall on, teachers must cooperate with other staff in the school, process assessment must be based on.
