Abstract:

From the history of humanity, violence is a continuous part of human life. In this age we live with this phenomenon, it is often faced in individual and social dimensions. While the phenomenon of violence is seen as a complex structure including individual and social dynamics, it is not considered an inevitable part of humanity and a religious, philosophical, legal and social effort is made to prevent it. A appearance of violence, close partner violence is treated as a social health problem. This study included various theories to explain the violence of the close partner that occurs in interpersonal relationships and types of individuals who use violence against the partner. Based on these theoretical explanations, in the adolescence period, which can be considered as the beginning of a romantic relationship, in the fight against close partner violence, taking into account the vital importance of youth in changing social norms, in the adolescence period, programmes aimed at preventing partner violence. We also discussed the need to create a program to prevent violence against adolescents in our country.
