Türkiye’de Matematik Eğitimi Alanında Problem Çözmeye Yönelik Yapılan Çalışmaların Bir İçerik Analizi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, 2000-2020 yılları arasında Türkiye’de matematik eğitimi alanında problem çözmeye yönelik çalışmaların içerik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında doküman inceleme, verilerin analizinde ise içerik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada problem çözmeye yönelik çalışmaların yayım yılı, araştırma grupları, araştırma yöntemleri, veri toplama araçları ve sonuçlarına ait elde edilen veriler frekans ve yüzde hesaplamalarıyla grafik ve tablolar oluşturulmuş ve bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Problem çözme ile ilgili çalışmalara bakıldığında 2005 yılından itibaren çalışmaların arttığı, en çok ortaokul öğrencileriyle çalışıldığı, en fazla nicel araştırma yöntemleri ile deneysel araştırma deseninin uygulandığı, test veri toplama aracının ise en fazla kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Rutin olmayan problem çözme ve yaratıcı problem çözme becerileri bakımından yeterli olmadığı, okuma becerisinin problem çözme becerisine etkisi olduğu, problemi anlama, plan yapma ve değerlendirme basamaklarında ise yetersizliklerin olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, between the years 2000-2020 those studies to solve problem in the field of mathematics education in Turkey was aimed to examine the content analysis method. In this study, one of the qualitative research methods, case study design was used. Document analysis method was used for data collection and content analysis method was used for data analysis. In this study, the data obtained from the publication year of the studies for problem solving, research groups, research methods, data collection tools and results were created by using frequency and percentage calculations and the findings were reached. When looking at the studies on problem solving, it was determined that the number of studies has increased since 2005, mostly secondary school students are employed, quantitative research methods and experimental research design are applied the most, and test data collection tool is used the most. It was concluded that non-routine problem solving and creative problem solving skills were not sufficient, reading skill had an effect on problem solving skills, and there were insufficiencies in understanding the problem, planning and evaluating the problem.
