Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to investigate the effects of the use of robotic activities in mathematics teaching on students’ course success. The study used the Untold Control Group Model from semi-experimental patterns. The universe of study 2013-2014 in the first semester of the academic year of Ankara Ili Cebeci High School 6. The class forms students. Three of the classes previously created by the school management as an example were assigned as a trial group with random method of control. The "Matematical Success Test" was used as a data collection tool. According to the sub-objectives of the study, the two-way variance analysis method has been used for repeated measurements as a technique of data analysis in visual statistics and research. The study found that the method of mathematical teaching, supported by robotic activities, was effective in increasing mathematical success, according to the lesson given by traditional method. The results of the analyses carried out in line with the sub-purpose of the research; the method of mathematical teaching supported by robotic activities, according to the class given by the traditional method, was determined that the mathematical success level was more effective in improving mathematical success levels in low students, while the mathematical success level was not significant in students with medium and high levels.
